AJ is very knowledgeable about the Central Iowa area and answered all questions we had in order to decide where we should build our home. AJ also introduced us to the builder we ended up choosing to build with after looking at a few existing homes on the market. Through the entire process, AJ was there to answer any and all questions we had. We trusted AJ's opinion so much that we consulted with him on home design and some fixtures. AJ guided us through the entire process and kept us well informed about what to expect next so there were no surprises during the process from start to finish. We received prompt responses to all communication with AJ. We would recommend AJ for all of your buying, selling, or building needs!

A.J. helped us find a great home. We were completely unfamiliar with the area since we are from out of state. My employer assigned him to us and we loved the experience. He showed us homes and taught us a lot about the area's we were looking. We had a bunch of homes we wanted to see in addition to the ones he found. We sent them to him a day or two prior to visiting and he had all of the homes set up to see on very short notice. He kept all of his suggested homes within our search parameters. This is huge because we've had a few realtors prior to this show us homes that were way more expensive or in bad area's. We really felt like he was no pressure, honest and real, not a "used car salesman" type."

AJ is an incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and patient realtor. He helped us sell our house in Ames in just three days--while we were out of town visiting family! He provided us with thorough and accurate information at every stage of the process; answered our many, many questions; and helped us feel more comfortable about the decisions we were making. He always accommodated our schedule, even meeting at our house in the evening after our kids went to bed on occasion. He was quick to answer texts/emails, no matter what time of day or day of the week we needed him--including holidays and when he was on vacation. He gave us good advice about fixing up our house to ensure we could get the best price. He moved quickly to market our house when we were ready to begin showings and continued to follow up on leads and offers. We trust AJ's advice and appreciate the time he took to help us through the process. We would most certainly recommend AJ to any other buyer/seller.

When we decided to move from Dallas-TX, the biggest worry was to find our dream home in a smaller community of Ames, IA as I accepted a job offer at Iowa State. Thankfully, we found A.J. during one of the Open Houses he was monitoring during our visit to Ames. A.J. is one of those Real Estate professionals who would like to work around buyers' needs, schedule, and budget. When we couldn't find something we truly like, he helped us in securing a lot and then found a solid builder for us! During the home construction process, we were in Texas. Yes! He was our 'eyes and ears' here in Ames as we built our dream home. We will definitely recommend A.J. for any type of real estate needs.

AJ has helped me buy two homes and sell two homes in the last 10 years (most recent purchase and sale was last year). He is absolutely fantastic to work with! When we were looking at houses he was incredibly patient and helped me figure out what I was looking for. He is very accommodating of busy schedules and never tried to push a sale. Always puts the customer first and there was no pressure to make a purchase. He is also very knowledgeable about many facts pertaining to the local market. He has patiently showed me a wide range of houses in both my searches and I've been very satisfied with both my choices in terms of the residence meeting my needs and the price (and value). He was also very helpful and patient when we made offers and gave great advice on how to respond during the negotiation process. When selling my homes he was very helpful in helping me find resources for fixing up things in my new home or preparing the old one for sale. When I sold my first home I was out of the country and AJ personally took on the responsibility of contacting a plumber to fix some things so the sale would go through. I can't think of many people who would do that for a customer! His level of personal attention is incredible- he has helped me with many details (bank loan advice, attorneys for title, deed and abstract etc) when preparing my most recent home for sale, including some of the smallest details such as picking the right carpet to improve its looks. During the selling negotiations he carefully guided me to avoid simple mistakes, was patient in waiting for the right offer, and gave good advice about when to accept an offer. He shared market statistics and trends and made sure we were making an informed decision. Nowadays it is hard to find someone who really cares about the customer and who isn't just doing the bare minimum to close the deal. AJ is one such rarity and a real gem in our community. Interacting with him over the years we have become good friends. I highly recommend him to anyone who has real estate needs in the area.

AJ was very pleasant to work with. He was knowledgable about the market in the area and gave his honest opinoin about each house we looked at. As I am a first time home owner, I had many many questions for AJ and he always answered them, no matter how small. I loved working with AJ and would definitely recommend him to anyone in central Iowa looking to buy or sell a home!

I've known A.J. for a number of years, and I wouldn't take my real estate business to anyone else. He provided me exceptional, personalized service. I offered him a sample of listings I was interested in, and what I was looking for in a home as a first-time home buyer. He prepared a longer, more comprehensive list of homes for me to review. After narrowing down the list, we toured several different homes, making repeat visits to several of them, until we locked down the home that best suited my needs.
